About Oudwijk
Oudwijk is one of those Utrecht gems nobody can pronounce if they aren't local ('Oud-weik'). The Oudwijkerdwarsstraat and Burgemeester Reigerstraat are the arteries: great coffee spots, patisserie Van Eijck, independent bookshops. Houses are mostly 1920s-30s, narrow and characterful with those iconic leaded-glass front doors. Born as Utrecht's first 'suburb' just outside the centre in the late 19th century.

By bike 10 to 14 minutes via the centre or Malieburg. By car 8 minutes via the Waterlinieweg. Bus lines 8 and 28 connect via Utrecht Centraal. Free parking at the door.
