About Transwijk
Park Transwijk covers 17 hectares of green right in the middle of the neighbourhood, originally designed in 1960 with ponds, a small deer park, and those tall poplars. The neighbourhood itself was built as a post-war housing expansion, with the characteristic gallery flats. Fun fact: the streets are named after German composers — Bach, Händel, Schubert — though nobody really thinks about it anymore.

By bike 4 to 6 minutes straight through Park Transwijk. By car 3 minutes. Bus line 24 stops at the Marco Pololaan, then 10 minutes on foot. Free parking at the door.
